We know from records that our uncle, Fusilier John Bonner, of The Royal Scots Fusiliers was initially buried somewhere near to the villages church when he, and 3 others, were killed on July 30th 1944. The others were, A. Keating (fusilier), J. McHught (fusilier), and H. Burns (Corporal). All were subsequently re-interred at the British War Cemetery, Ranville. If anyone has any details of what happened, please email me on rms3205@hotmail.com The family would dearly like to know the circumstances of their deaths. Thank you. Ray McSharry
